"ClubSupport.eu" intends to help associations in obtaining additional funds. As such, "Clubsupport.eu" asks employed persons to hand in a day of leave at their employer (which corresponds to an extra day of work) and donate the monetary value of this day to an association or non profit organisation of choice.
In the Netherlands "Clubsupport.eu" asked the Dutch Government for a tax free donation of this monetary value. About 1.5 milion people in the Netherlands are willing to hand in a day of leave to support their association or non profit organisation of choice. Assuming an average value of € 170 per day, this indicates a potential economic impulse of 170 * 1.5 million people = € 255 million.
  For instance for Great Britain, France or Germany this impulse might even be significantly higher. Based on a rough estimation approximately 6 million are willing to participate in this initiative meaning that the economic impulse might exceed € 1.0 billion. The large economic impact indicates the importance of the initiative. Therefore associations and non profit organisations should demand a tax free donation from their government as well! Working one day a year for your club, tax free.
